Paula writes novels from her cozy loft office in the North Georgia mountains with her eighteen year old special needs child who she co-parents and a quirky cat. The cat was originally a stray that she homed during a bad winter and it never left, not quite the same for her child however, ironically both the cat and child both create similar mess and are sometimes misnamed. This results in some unusual dinner dynamics.

When not writing, she works in the Information Technology field covering everything from computer programming to big data in enterprise integration systems. At home performs laundry duty and endeavors to endlessly feed both the child and cat as fairly as possible, mostly the cat wins.

Paula has numerous advanced diplomas in computer systems, programming, operations and is trained as a volunteer EMS through FEMA. She also has for the last five years been a researcher of trans-gender medical science related to the biological reality of in-utero incongruence, as such dabbles in genetics and neuroscience between those sessions of cat feeding and laundry. Although she has been in Information Technology all her life, writing now gives her creative meaning.
